The Telluride Writers Guild works to inspire and honor the creative development of local writers of all ages and to serve and develop Telluride’s local literary audience by offering workshops, classes, performances and open reading forums. Standing programs include Talking Gourds Spoken Word Festival (third week of April), Walking Words progressive dinner and workshops (second weekend in October) and Write Here, a series that “hires” local writers to write about our region.
