Driving

Everything in Telluride is within walking distance so there is no need for a car. However, if you would like alternate forms of transportation there are various options for getting around town.

A free gondola provides transportation between the towns of Telluride and Mountain Village. A 15-minute ride, the gondola runs between the hours of 7am and 12-midnight daily (in-season). Pets and bicycles are welcome and the gondola also provides access for handicapped travelers.
