Get ready for fun! Marcella’s toy box is open and Raggedy Ann and Andy are on the loose! Johnny’ Gruelle’s classic tale of a group of beloved toys comes to life on the Sheridan Opera House stage with 30 local thespians grades 3-5. Join Raggedy Ann and Andy and their pals
(a Lego man, an acrobatic clown, a wind-up robot and other fun-loving toys) as they embark on a daring quest to rescue the neglected playthings of their mean-spirited neighbors, Bucky and Tracy. With plenty of plot twists and turns, this is an action packed story that will keep audiences guessing. Will Raggedy Ann and Andy retain their positions as favored toys with the arrival of Fifi and Gabrielle, the new fancy French dolls? Will the neighbor’s dog, Butch, succeed in terrorizing every toy on the block? Come to the show and find out! Singing and dancing their way through every scene, this cast’s amazing talent will keep every toe tapping and secure a smile on every face. Directed by Jennifer Julia with music direction provided by Bob Callendale Israel. Performed by 30 local students in 3rd, 4th & 5th grades, this play is a joyful story for all ages
